Description
Made of 100% high quality natural fabrics, measuring 50cm x 70cm, consisting of 40% linen & 60% cotton and produced to OEKO-TEX 100 Standard.
A tea-towel containing linen is more durable and hard wearing than one made from cotton alone. If you didn’t know, linen is an eco-friendly and sustainable fabric made of flax, which requires less water than cotton, when grown, and is entirely biodegradable. The plant is very efficient as all elements can be be used to produce various goods such as linseed/flax oil, fabric, medicine, and food for livestock.
As a bonus for environmentally conscious consumers, this product is entirely produced in Europe. Thus it has covered fewer miles to reach you. As a result, less CO2 was generated during transportation, compared with textiles from other parts of the world.
A four-leafed clover design tea towel. Bring yourself, or whoever you give it to, good luck. This belief is an ancient one, and may date back over a thousand years, when in the Celtic tradition the Druids carried them as magical charms to avoid bad spirits and bad luck. In reality four-leafed clovers are quite rare – you’ll only find one, on average, for every 10,000 three leafed examples.
