Reporting Intellectual Property Violations

Submit a Notice of Infringement:

Our Response to IP Complaints
Review Process:
- We will review all notices of infringement promptly.
- If the notice is complete and valid, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
Notifying the Alleged Infringer:
- The alleged infringer will be notified of the claim and provided an opportunity to respond with a counter-notice.
Counter-Notice Procedure:
- If the alleged infringer believes their content is not infringing, they may submit a counter-notice that includes:
- A detailed explanation of why the content is lawful.
- Their contact information.
- A signed declaration under penalty of perjury.

Restoring Content:
If a valid counter-notice is received, we may restore the content unless the IP owner provides evidence of legal action within 10 business days.
Repeat Infringers
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for repeat infringers. Users found to repeatedly violate this policy will have their accounts terminated.
Limitation of Liability
Ethical Lemur is a neutral intermediary and is not responsible for verifying the accuracy of IP ownership claims. While we take reasonable steps to address violations, we do not mediate disputes between users regarding intellectual property rights.

This policy is reviewed regularly and updated to reflect changes in laws, regulations, or business practices. Users will be notified of significant updates via email or platform notifications.
