Types of Fees

Sellers on ethical-lemur.com may be required to pay various fees, which are listed exclusive of VAT or other applicable taxes. All fees, including prepaid fees, are non-refundable.

1. Set-Up Fee

  • A one-time fee may be charged during the shop setup process.
  • This fee is confirmed and processed once your shop is open and ready to receive orders.
  • The set-up fee is non-refundable but may be waived during promotions.
  • Taxes on this fee may apply based on your location and will be reflected in your account.

2. Listing Fees

  • A listing fee of £0.20 is charged for each item listed for sale.
  • No additional listing fees are required for items displayed on your Pattern site or for editing listings.
  • Listings expire after four months unless auto-renew is enabled.
  • Auto-renewal will automatically charge £0.20 per item at the end of the listing period unless cancelled.

3. Transaction Fees

  • A 6.5% transaction fee is applied to each sale, based on the item’s displayed price plus delivery and gift wrapping charges.
  • Fees for optional personalisation are included in the listing price and subject to the same transaction fee.
  • Transaction fees are deducted from your balance at the time of sale and are reflected in your payment account.

 

Auto-Renew Settings

  • Auto-renew can be managed in your Listings Manager.

  • Switching to manual renewals ensures no further fees beyond the current listing period.

Paying Your Ethical Lemur Fees

  • Automatic Deductions: Fees are automatically deducted from your payment account, except the one-time set-up fee, which is charged to your card during onboarding.
  • Insufficient Funds: If your payment account lacks funds, you must pay the balance within 15 days of your monthly statement to avoid your account being considered past due. Ethical Lemur may then charge your card on file or take other collection actions as outlined in the Payments Policy.
  • Outstanding Balances: If you have an unpaid balance, any new sales will be applied to it. You can also pay manually using a credit card, debit card, or PayPal. 
  • Monthly Statements: Your statement, detailing the prior month’s sales and fees, is available in your payment account at the start of each month.
  • Suspension: Ethical Lemur may suspend your selling privileges until outstanding balances are cleared.
